Hot Springs

While driving home from the funeral for Paul's father we spent a night and a day in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  It's one of those places we always drive by at 70-miles-an-hour trying to get to Dayton or get home from Dayton.  It was nice to stop and visit.

Fordyce Bath Hall, once an upscale bath hall, now a national monument.  The hot water once flowed as a river from the mouth of the spring through downtown.  It now runs under the street.  The spring at the left flows underneath this bath hall.

Paul was quite excited when he found out Hot Springs has a "duck" tour just like Branson.
BeckyInDuck.jpg (131302 bytes)Becky obliged Paul and allowed a duck tour.  This duck broke down...fortunately while it was on land and a spare duck was sent to pick us up.

A rather large lakefront house as seen from the duck.
